We have been a locally managed, non-profit, retirement community, since 1926. Parkview was founded in 1914 as a not-for-profit corporation, designed to meet the needs of seniors. Local businessmen pledged $200,000 and challenged the community to raise the remaining funds to construct and maintain the facility, and that goal was realized when Parkview officially opened their doors on July 24, 1926.
Today Parkview offers a number of worry-free living options. There is something to suit every lifestyle. We offer retirement living with a full continuum of care: exceptional carefree homes, beautiful independent apartments, quality assisted living, and a 24-hour health care center. Parkview's recent expansion has added private assisted living memory care apartments and private Health Center rooms.
